Titchfield Vineyard is ideally placed in a sheltered location close to the warm waters of The Solent in the heart of the historic Elizabethan village of Titchfield.
The first vines were planted in 1991 and produced the first vintage in 1996. The vine varieties were chosen for their ability to ripen with good sugar levels in the Southern English climate. All Titchfield wines are produced from grapes grown, vinefied and bottled on the estate. The Maritime Climate is perfect for Pinot Noir, producing a smooth, medium bodied, ripe cherry fruit and silky tannins.
VINEYARD News - APRIL 2013
2012 season was the worst for Titchfield Vineyard since it was planted in 1992. The result being there will be no Pinot Noir vintage 2012. This most popular wine is usually sold out before the next vintage is available. However in 2011 more vines were planted and we hope to be able to satisfy all our customers in the near future.
Titchfield Wines won Further Success this year
Our Bacchus was awarded Bronze; Regional award of Bronze to a new vine - Carnival Medium Dry, whilst the 2010 Pinot reached Quality Wine Standard for Tasting.
